With this in mind, our Curriculum Plan is enriched with a STEM lab dedicated to experimentation, hands-on learning, and the development of critical and creative thinking.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Purpose of the STEM Lab<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) lab is designed to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Foster active,<\/strong> hands-on learning in scientific and technological disciplines.<\/li>\n<li>Promote <strong>curiosity, creativity, and the ability to solve complex problems.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Stimulate the development of <strong>computational thinking<\/strong> and digital skills through coding and robotics.<\/li>\n<li>Teach <strong>collaborative work<\/strong> and shared design.<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen the connection between theory and practice, making school a place of real experimentation.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Encourage <strong>informed orientation<\/strong> toward technical-scientific study paths and the professions of the future.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Activities and Methodologies<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In the STEM lab, middle and high school students will participate in interdisciplinary activities, structured into annual, modular programs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Coding and Computational Thinking:<\/strong> Use of block-based software and visual programming languages \u200b\u200bto develop control logic, algorithms, and automation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Educational Robotic:<\/strong> Design, construction, and programming robots using educational kits to consolidate learning through play and experimentation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Electronics and Technological Experimentation:<\/strong> Building simple electronic circuits and practical applications using sensors, actuators, and microcontrollers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tinkering and Creative Prototyping:<\/strong> Building objects and practical solutions through the free use of recycled materials and basic tools, to develop inventiveness, manual skills, and independent design.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing:<\/strong><br \/>\nParticular attention will be paid to additive manufacturing and the educational potential of 3D printing.
