The Humanities High School offers a broad range of knowledge and, above all, a scientific approach to empirical research applied to the humanities.
It fosters knowledge and skills aimed at a solid understanding of human and social behavior, the world of work, and the media, as well as mastery of certain data collection and processing techniques and statistical analysis of surveys.
The Pascal High School for Humanities in Turin is therefore suitable for those with an interest in educational sciences and in understanding the problems of individuals and society.
GOALS
- provide suitable skills for understanding individual and social problems, with a view to accessing professions in the educational, social, and public relations fields;
- ensure the acquisition of adequate skills in the use of the linguistic medium;
- placing the student and his experiences at the centre of learning, an idea based on the Finnish education model;
- to provide a particular sensitivity in addressing the educational phenomena of contemporary society.


Duration of studies: the course is structured over 5 years of training.
Title achieved: High school diploma in human sciences with a major in economics and social sciences.
Continuation of studies: The degree allows access to all university faculties. This major focuses on in-depth study of subjects such as sociology and psychology, which opens the door to education faculties.
Possibility of use: The course prepares students for the care sector, where public institutions are likely future employers. The natural career path is childcare and education, as well as other special needs, such as the elderly, disabled, and sick.
