A graduate of the G. Segrè State High School, a degree in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Turin, and the Ecole d'Architecture Paris la Vilette, she has worked for several private schools in Turin and the surrounding province. Currently in Chieri, she is the Coordinator of Educational Activities (Principal) at the Blaise Pascal Private High School. She writes for Rizzoli and in her spare time enjoys traveling, writing, and her cats.

Caterina Pennisi
Holds a degree in Modern Literature from the University of Turin (Faculty of Letters and Philosophy). Passionate about linguistics and the history of the Italian language, she has been inspired by the teachings of Professor Gian Luigi Beccaria, focusing on the evocative power of words and the history of political satire from the Unification of Italy to the 1990s. She has also developed expertise in educational planning, offering training for primary and lower secondary school teachers on methodologies for teaching Italian, class management, motivation, and metalinguistics.

Micol Rigoni
Micol is a natural science and math teacher with a degree in Medical Biotechnology and a PhD in Molecular Medicine. She worked for around ten years in oncological hematology research and one year in osteoimmunology. After many tutoring experiences in biotechnology, she transitioned to teaching. She loves cats, colors, traveling, and writing.
Spanish Language Teacher
Marcela Galli
Born in Argentina, she earned a degree in Pedagogy and Primary Education. With 28 years of experience teaching Spanish, she has been an instructor at Liceo Pascal since 2001. She specializes in language teaching for children and adults at all levels and prepares them for international certifications. She has also collaborated with organizations such as Enaip, Consorzio Formont, and Valli Alpine. Her passions include teaching and music.


Native English-Speaking Teacher
Ethne Jane Miller
Born in Kimberley, South Africa, she has a rich cultural background with British, Irish, Indonesian, and Malay roots. She studied at the Perseverance Teacher Training College, specializing in bilingual education in English and Afrikaans, and later trained in the Montessori method in England. Guided by the principles of respect, independence, and freedom within limits, she brings these values into her teaching.
Alongside her educational work, she has taken part in Italian writing competitions and gained culinary experience in a catering school. Her personal interests range from classical music and local festivals to the practice of Tai Chi. Passionate about inspiring her students, she encourages learning with enthusiasm, creativity, and a strong sense of dignity and respect.

Valentina Modesto
She holds a High School Diploma and the International Baccalaureate, and earned a degree in Architecture. A registered architect in Turin, she has worked on restoration projects for historic monuments as well as residential and tourist buildings in her family’s studio. She has also translated technical manuals for a French multinational and teaches English for Cambridge certifications. Passionate about learning and creativity, she enjoys reading, spending time by the sea, and playing golf in her free time.

Enrico Frezzato
Born and raised in Chieri. A graduate of the Conservatory “G. Verdi” in Turin, he serves as the Maestro of the Chieri Band and directs the Music School of the Filarmonica Chierese. He is also part of the group “I Musicanti di Riva presso Chieri.” His favorite hobbies are sports—particularly soccer, volleyball, and basketball.

Gabriel Pablo Cortiñas
A languages teacher, translator, and musician, originally from Argentina and now based in Italy. Holds degrees in Vocal Chamber Music and Modern Languages and Literatures from the University of Turin. Actively involved in the polyglot international community, he teaches multiple languages (English, Spanish, Italian, German, French, Chinese, Welsh) to students of various ages. Passionate about alternative teaching methods and homeschooling.

My name is Andrea Rosa, and I am a physical education teacher. Sport has always been a great passion for me, which led me to pursue studies to become a PE teacher. I strongly believe that movement is essential to reinforce and energize children’s cognitive and emotional learning path. I work in the fashion industry as a clothing and graphic designer.
I am a consultant and manage the school's graphics and IT department. In my free time, I spend time with my daughters and love traveling to spark new ideas and my creativity.
