DAISY PRIMARY INTERNATIONAL

WHO ARE WE?

Daisy was born from the experience gained with Holden International Middle School and Pascal High Schools, a long collaboration with an English school in Nanjing, passionate studies on international educational methods.
Partnerships with international realities: the IIC - Italian Cultural Institute of Helsinki, the Pirtin Koulu Primary School of Kuopio and the Highton Primary School Victoria in Australia.

OUR TEACHING

The Daisy Primary School was born from the idea of creating a school based on the Finnish method capable of developing children’s empathy, uniqueness and curiosity, providing a European-style education combined with learning English.

We have adopted a pedagogical system that follows the principles of Finnish teaching because we think it is fundamental to promote an education to freedom rather than obedience, developing a sense of responsibility and respect, individual and collective.

Our educational system is therefore devoted to the formation of children in all their aspects and ranges from social to emotional skills, through the promotion of collaboration and mutual solidarity. The goal is to learn to work together on the We and not the ego.

THE FINNISH METHOD

Inclusiveness

Teaching thought, designed and planned on the basis of individual variability, able to be accessible for all students.

Autonomy

Ability to think independently and also to exercise self-assessment.

Learning space

The space understood as physical, temporal, relational and cultural space. Everything around is in continuous relationship with the school community. The environment that builds the experience.

Cure

Emphasis on the relationship between care, education and teaching with a view to promoting collaborative growth between children and teachers as a privileged path to well-being and learning both social and practical skills.

Learning by Doing

Teaching where practical experience is the starting point of every educational process.

Travelling school

Didactic mode that provides the exit on the territory with educational purposes: the real place of learning and the world of in its entirety.

UNA REALTÀ INTERNAZIONALE

Attraverso un lavoro interdisciplinare fra arte, musica e botanica abbiamo sviluppato un metodo di apprendimento delle lingue straniere orientato all’acquisizione pratica del vocabolario e delle competenze linguistiche.

Le lingue studiate alla scuola primaria Daisy sono l’inglese con insegnante madrelingua, lo spagnolo con insegnate madrelingua e il cinese con insegnante bilingue.

I NOSTRI PROGETTI

Laboratorio Ecogreen: orto botanico.
Lezioni Outdoor in sede e fuori sede.
Musical in lingua inglese: spettacolo natalizio e spettacolo di fine anno.
Reading Time: visite alle scuole dell’infanzia del territorio con attività come la lettura e la rappresentazione di fiabe in lingua inglese.
Sport: danza, nuoto, rugby, atletica leggera, minibasket.
Yoga&Mindfulness.

Servizio navetta, disponibile anche il door to door.
Servizio PEDIBUS con punto di partenza Piazza Dante Chieri.
Servizio mensa organizzato da una gastronomia chierese e possibilità di portare il pranzo da casa.
Ingresso agevolato alle 7:30 al mattino e uscita agevolata alle 18:00 di pomeriggio.
