DAISY PRIMARY SCHOOL

Daisy Primary School was founded to bring the Finnish educational approach to life, nurturing empathy, individuality, and curiosity in children.

We offer a European-style education with a strong focus on English language learning.

WHO ARE WE?

Daisy builds on the rich experience of International Middle School Holden and Pascal High Schools, in addition to a long-standing partnership with an English school in Nanjing (China).

Our approach is based on extensive research into international education methods. We have partnerships with renowned institutions such as the Italian Cultural Institute in Helsinki, Pirtin Koulu Primary School in Kuopio (Finland) and Highton Primary School in Victoria (Australia).

OUR TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

We follow Finnish education principles, focusing on fostering learning through freedom rather than obedience. We emphasize responsibility and mutual respect.

Our education system aims to develop children holistically, from social to emotional skills, encouraging collaboration and mutual support. Our goal is to teach students to work together as a team, prioritizing the 'We' over 'I'.

AN INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY

Through interdisciplinary projects in art, music, and botany, we've developed a method for teaching foreign languages focused on practical vocabulary and language skills acquisition.

At Daisy Primary School, students learn English from native speakers, Spanish from native speakers, and Chinese from a bilingual teacher.

A JOURNEY TOGETHER

Daisy marks the beginning of an educational journey that starts in primary school and continues through to graduation.

The administration of Daisy Elementary School believes that for the sake of transparency, in addition to educational and organizational information, it is also necessary to publish the costs for the school year, allowing all parents to access this information directly from the website.

  • Registration fee: €400.00 to be paid at the time of registration.
  • Annual course fee: €4700.00 to be paid in 10 monthly installments (€470.00) from September to June, due by the 6th of each month (optional after-school activities service from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM included in the annual fee).
  • Meal service: single meal €6.00 with monthly payment (€140).
  • Bus service: to be calculated based on the route
  • Heating and services: annual fee of €500.00: €250.00 to be paid in November, €250.00 to be paid in February.
  • Cambridge fee:  (awaiting school certification) €200.00 annually to be paid at the time of registration.

10% Discount on the attendance fee for students from the same family unit enrolled at the Istituto Pascal Chieri. (The monthly installment will be €423.00 - from September to June for each child); only one registration and heating fee will be charged, and the discount will only apply for the attendance period of both students.

 

The cost excludes any extracurricular activities, trips, and educational visits.
